Peak 18W: Jetson Orin Nano 10W + OAK-D Lite 2.5W + RPLIDAR 2.5W + motors 3W. 3S 5200mAh @ 80% DoD = 2.1hr runtime at average 14W draw.
Cytron MDD10A rated 10A/channel. Motors stall at 2.3A each. 4.3× safety margin is adequate for 5kg payload on flat indoor surfaces.
RPLIDAR A1 provides 360° at 5.5m — covers 4×4m room perimeter with margin. Angular resolution 1° at 2000 Hz. Verified against gmapping and nav2.
OAK-D Lite spatial AI at 30fps, depth range 0.3–8m on Jetson USB-C 3.1. DepthAI 2.24 + depthai_ros confirmed functional on JetPack 6.0.
Jetson Orin Nano runs sustained at 45°C ambient in MAXN mode with passive heatsink. Add the official active cooler for environments above 35°C.
Motor driver on dedicated power plane. Ferrite beads on all USB signal lines. Physical separation maintained >30mm from motor wiring.
JetPack 6.0 + ROS2 Humble + DepthAI 2.24 + rplidar_ros2 + respeaker_ros2. Integration-tested on reference hardware. Launch file included.
Hardware e-stop header exposed on MDD10A GPIO. ROS2 watchdog node terminates /cmd_vel after 500ms topic silence. Both tested in simulation and hardware.
RPLIDAR mount height 150mm clears all wheel arc intrusions. OAK-D optical axis at 120mm — no chassis or wiring in the 87° FOV. Verified on CAD model.
All components individually FCC/CE certified. Integration-level RF review recommended before commercial deployment or public demonstration.
